Maungawhau School Fair
Saturday 4 November 2023

2022 The Return of the Fair
Last year’s fair was a huge success! After three years of disruptions we came together as a community and put on an epic day. In the process, we raised over $92,000 for the school – which was then put towards resurfacing the school’s three beloved playgrounds.
Bring on the 2023 Fair!
Come and visit the fair to shop, eat and be entertained! All your favourite stalls are back plus some new exciting additions including…
- Preloved goodies – White Elephant, Toys & Games, Clothes, Books…
- Activities galore – Bouncy Castles, Teacher Dunk, Face Painting, Chair-o-Plane, Tombola, Toilet Roll Toss, Splat the Rat…
- Treats to take home – Preserves, Jolly Jars, Cakes, Sweets, Plants, Crafts…
- And delicious lunchtime kai – Candy Floss, Dumplings, Mango Lassi, Brazilian BBQ, Chocolate Demise, Hāngī and Chop Suey!
Bring your whanau, friends and neighbours, and enjoy a fun filled day out while helping us raise money for our wonderful school. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. See you on Saturday 4th November 11am-3pm. Rain or shine!

2023 Class Stall Allocations
We have now finalised stall allocations for 2023. Thank you to those that have already assigned themselves to lead a stall – your enthusiasm and knowledge is most appreciated. We are still looking for Stall Leads, so if you are able to help please contact Natalie Mardell at fair@maungawhau.school.nz.
Leading a fair stall is a great chance to get to know your own classroom’s families and those in the wider School Community. The stallholder will be required to coordinate rosters and may have some additional tasks to undertake. All stalls come with comprehensive handover notes.
